Buenavista del Norte - The newest golf course in Tenerife!
The golf course in Buenavista del Norte is situated on the extreme northeastern corner of the island of Tenerife - in an area known as Daute - Isla Baja. This part of the island is characterised by a mild climate without any violent changes between the different seasons of the year.

Near the golf course there is the Teno mountain range, a natural protected space categorized as a Rural Park. Its closest border to the golf course is just over one kilometre away. Teno features some of the most emblematic spots and landscapes of Tenerife, such as the hamlet of Masca. The course is situated in a place known as the "La Fuente Estate", taking its name from the 17th century family home of the former owner. This estate had a small natural pool near the cliffs. Its reconstruction will soon begin, providing it also with the necessary installations for its recreational use - not only for golf patrons but also for anyone who wishes to enjoy the spot. Also in progress on land bordering the course is a desalination plant which will guarantee a supply of 2,000 m³ of water per day for irrigation, thus making the course self sufficient as far as water is concerned, leaving the natural water resources of the area available for agriculture. The Golf Course covers an area of 535,000 m². There is a building permission for hotels with three storeys, covering a maximum of 42,800 m², distributed in three plots for hotel use, although at the moment only a five-star hotel is planned. The idea is to present a combined resort with a first-class hotel complex, with the added attraction of the reconstructed natural pool and other services, such as a spa centre. Within the golf course area, the Special Plan delimits an Area of Interest around the architectural complex of La Fuente, situated near the coastline. The complex will be restored and its protection will be compatible with the sports activities.
